Moving out SUPRISE $$$

My boyfriend and I lived in a one bedroom apartment for 7 months. We were never late with rent and kept the place very clean.
When we moved out, we spent nearly 3 hours cleaning - the stove, the blinds, the fireplace... The inspector said although the toilets LOOKED clean, they needed to be cleaned professionally, and all the appliances needed to be pulled out and cleaned underneath, and the top of the INSIDE of the oven felt like it had a "film" on it, etc. After countless phone conversations and 2 additional inspections, they agreed our place was "very clena" and gave us a discounted rate - $140!
Ultimately we moved because we hated the location, there is NOTHING around! We also questioned the safety of the area. The only problem we had with the apartment itself was a constant battle with ants.
Although we enjoyed our spacious apartment,the beautiful grounds, swimming pool and tennis courts, I would not recommend this place to ANYONE.
