Nice place, but expensive and no extra storage

Years at this apartment: 2000 - 2001
My wife and I lived there when we first moved here back in September of 2000. Our rent was 1710 for a two bedroom back then. After our initial 6 month lease was up they wanted to raise our rent to 1825 I believe (I'm working on memory here). 115 after just 6 months' No thank you.
I will say that the place was pretty decent. The size was good and the deck was *huge* but there was no real extra storage which was a real pain.
The office staff also changed the reason why we left on the move out form. We put down rent increase was the reason while they changed it to "bought a house". My guess is that they didn't want to report this to corporate maybe' Who knows.
