Ghetto living at suburb prices.

My assesment will not vary much from many of the others here I am afraid. Crime runs rampant in the area. Every day there was people picking through the garbage, my next door neighbor had his window broken out by a rock, and a car was broken into at least once a week. At least the area police are attractive eye candy, as you will be seeing them a few times a week.
The management also does not regulate the apartments. In the one bedroom unit below ours, we counted no less then 6 people and 2 children that lived there.
The complex is pet friendly (which was a great asset to me), however, the residents with dogs were not curteous. Fecal matter was rarely removed and walking through the grass in some areas was like breaching a landmind. One one memorable occasion, a dog owner that did pick up the refuse, tossed the baggie onto my second floor balcony. Nice. I heard from neighbors I was not the only one this happened too.
From when I moved in, until we vacated, the apartment building had a lage termite problem. I was informed by the staff there was nothing they could do about this. Apparently southern California does not have any exterminators.
The pool and hot tub are always filled with screaming kids, who's pool time probably consituted as thier bath for the week. I saw filthy children come from playing in the vollyball court, covered in dirt and who-knows-what and jump into the pool frequently. Gross.
At this price, move somewhere else. It is not worth paying 1100 a month for one bedroom in the ghetto.
