After seeing the ratings on Canyon Club Apartments I would probably choose not to live here. However I must contradict some of them. I have lived at Canyon Club for 7 months now and I feel that a few of the comments and complaints are invalid. From my experience you are not always going to get everything you want.... so what if your bedroom window faces the parking lot, would you rather your patio face it or would you rather walk about 200 feet from your car with groceries just so you can enjoy a view from the bedroom window (don't think there is really too much to see at night while you are sleeping). As for the comments on crime... have you ever thought about the items that you are leaving in plain view for a theif to see, or advertising your stereo system by the volume of your music drive by that person, or leaving your bikes where anyone can have access to it. Probably haven't though of those issues huh' Come on, we live in a world where crime happens all the time. A person is always doing something to prevent crimes from happening to them. People always want to discuss the negative things that happen, yet they forget to mention the positive things. For instance, I feel the management team here is great, the old staff seemed immature and cared more about partying and flirting. The current staff cares about the residents and their wants and needs. Whether I go into the office with a complaint or just to say hi I am always greeting with a smile. They are always cheerful and willing to help. I feel the same about the maintenance staff. They have always responded quickly to my repair requests, fix it in a timely manner and are always nice. As always and the same with everyplace I have lived there are things that need to be worked on. But I feel that Canyon Club is a nice community and only getting better. Try walking through the property and enjoy the peaceful surroundings. I feel that the staff always makes you feel important and welcome and because of this I call Canyon Club my home and hope to stay here for a while. I would highly recommend living here. In closing I just want to say.... CANYON CLUB YOU ROCK!
