I'm from Idaho, and I'm not used to cockroaches. When I told them that we had a problem with the cockroaches in our apartment, they said it was my problem, no theirs and that I would have to pay for an exterminator. Personally, I thought that it was their responsibility because I was paying them $1000 a month to live in the ghetto. It's not in a very good part of town, either. Down the street is the REAL ghetto, and there were gunshots going off, and I really didnt feel safe when I was home by myself and my husband was in the field or something. We always got complaints when we had people over. We wouldnt even be loud. That was so lame. There were always weird smells coming from the vents...and I'm pretty sure that my upstairs neighbors had a meth lab or something up there. Our apartment was spotless when we moved out. I steam cleaned the carpets every day for five days, everything was very clean! But they still didnt give us hardly any of our deposit back, because they said they had to have cleaners come in, and they had to paint. I think we had maybe...2 pictures on the wall while we were there, and I filled in the nail holes. Every time we would have people over, we would get a complaint...and it would be from clear across the parking lot...in a different building. It's not like we were having a crazy party...we were quiet. My husband got his orders for deployment, and that gets us out of our lease, but they still made us pay the next month's rent, even though we werent living there, and even though we gave them the orders! They really made me mad. Plus...there were always people going through the dumpster and I thought that was odd. The children of the apartments are insane. They run all over the place at all hours of the night climbing on the car ports, on the cars, running up and down the stairs. It actually sucked really bad living there, and I can't believe that I let my husband pick out apartments by himself.

Wow, it sounds like my experience there. I thought that I was the only one that got screwed. I can almost hear that fat chick in the office telling you that the roaches are your problem. My buddy got his truck towed while parking in my carport space. It cost him over $300.00 to get it back, and they wouldn't even take care of it. Good luck to you, I still hate that place.
