I have lived in Canyon club apartments since 2005 and did not have a problem until just recently. A new neighbor moved in and will listen to his music or play his video games at all hours of the day and night, this would not be much of a problem except it is run through a surround sound system with a seperate bass speaker, and he either has a hearing issue or loves to listen to music and video games with the sound turned way up so I am constantly hearing the bass and have had pictures slide off their hooks and other items fall off shelves. I have talked to the management and their idea was that I should talk to this guy and it really is not up to them to make him turn down the music. The area this complex is in is also not in the best area, shortly after we moved in someone was murdered just behind the complex on Canyon road and there are gang tags spray painted on the sidewalks around the complex and in the surrounding neighborhoods, don't wear red walking throught the neighborhood this could get you hurt. The kids in the complex seem to have the run of the place playing where ever they want including in the parking lots and on and around my patio. The laundry rooms are another story, the one by my apartment all the driers have melted crayon or other gross items including gum so if you wash your clothes chances are they will come out dirtier then when the went into the wash.

i think that if you cant afford to buy a home than there will be a degree of sacrafice you will have to make living in apartment dwellings. I personally live at canyon club and love it here. I have never had any problems. I have had a problem with management handling any complaint i may have they are quick to get to the root of the problem. My apartment is in great condition and they are making extreme improvements. Of course you will have some bad apples .... all kinds of people live in apartments. my husband is military and they are very understanding of that being that most of the staff have military family. I love the staff ------- ------ ----- and -------. They always feed me cookies and keep me smiling while my husband is deployed. they just recently stopped allowing certain breeds of dogs which i think is great because i feel safer now that some of the more aggressive breeds are off the property. I dont mind being close to freeways and base i will sacrafice a few things to have that and an upgraded apartment that they will fix things within 3 hours of my call... i have seen them show up as lil as 5 minutes after i call. kudos to canyon club i will be here till i buy a home which at the prices now will be a long time.

You talk as though you live in a gang infested area, which this is not. Are you prejudice against a certain nationality? Wow, someone was murdered in Oceanside, Ca . . have you checked the crime stats lately buddy? Probably not if you are writing crap like that. And NO, there ARE NOT gang tags on sidewalks, I walk this complex DAILY, there isn't a sign of ANY gang stuff even near here. And I have yet to use a washer or dryer that has gum in it. . .get life and quit lying.

These reviews are so inaccurate, I think that the idiotic mgmt staff wrote those positive responses. Someone stole my book that I left in the laundry room. My upstairs neighbors have 4 adults, 3 children, 2 grandchildren all living in a 2 bedroom apt. Loud noise all the time, oh one night I was walking toward the dumpster to throw out some trash and 3 cop cars came flying in and slammed on the brakes looking for an attempted robber. This place is dangerous theres 2 sexual predators within 2 miles. Don't go here I feel obligated to speak the truth.

im totally in agreeance..i lived here for two year and i could write a book on all the stuff i have experienced with them.every day here it keeps getting worse and worse.im totally in agreeance with the person above who said that the office staff wrote the positive comments they are probally devious enough to do that.they do lie alot about alot of things and they do try to charge you for bogus stuff when you move out.i can not think of anything positive to say about this complex.we are moving out in a couple of days and we are exctatic to get out of here.and yes it is in a bad neighborhood.the mexican gangs are right down the road and there are gang signs on the nearby sidewalks.if you find a dryer thqat works then yes more than likely you will find a crayon melted in there or someother nasty crap.there are sexual predators who actually live less than a mile around here.i walk down to the beach and back often and someone kepy fallowing me i had a bad fealing but the cops were close....there have been many breakins in the apartments and cars.motorcycles have been stolen.i pay 15 dollars a month for covered reserved parking and if i park in someone elses better believe im getting towed but let someone park in mine and i have to wait 24 hours before it cn be towed so then i have to park on the street instead of MY parking spot.oh my gosh i could go on and on aabout alot of stuff but i have a life and dont wanna sit here all night long..oh they are nice to you when you move in but let a problem arise they do nothing about it....and lie about everything..........my advise run FAR FAR AWAY.......
