I was recently looking for aparments and I found CANYON CLUB I read the review's and i saw a lot of bad one's and some good one's not many but some. I decide to still go ahead and get the place regaurdless of the comments. Well I was looking for a 6 month lease and I was told that it would be available to me. I put the paperwork in and was approved, I was told i would be contacted Immeditalely it took 4 days to get word and my wife had to call. I went the frist time to fill the Lease and paper work and was told that there is was no 6month leased. AT the same time there was a person in the office waiting to get services she was telling us to go else where!!! I am not a person who likes to write bad things about people or services, but I didnt like the service, and the policy that they have towards MILITARY services, having to pay and extra month after you leave the bulding. I cant say bad things about the parking or the grounds, but i can surely say that the SERVICE WAS BAD!!!!!

You might want to get your facts straight. It is not a policy that Canyon Club has made up but a part of the Servicemembers Civil Relief Act of 1940 which was amended in 2004. Basically... Canyon Club plays by the rules.

I agree, they screwed me out of my deposit and made me pay one months rent after I moved out. The service there is lackluster at best and I wouldn't recommend canyon club to anyone.

I just saw on the news that there was an attempted kidnapping here.OCEANSIDE -- Two men attempted to abduct a 23-year-old woman as she walked her dog early on Saturday. authorities said.
Oceanside police said that the woman was walking her dog on Eagles Nest Way just before 1 a.m. when an older black Lexus sedan driven erratically stopped next to her. The car's passenger got out, grabbed the woman's arm and pulled her toward the car's open door, police said. She was able to fight him off and run away. The man and another man driving sped away while the woman hid in some bushes. Oceanside police responded but were unable to locate the suspects, both who appeared to be in their 20s.
