I have lived here for three years and it was nice up until a month ago when they starting just let anybody move in here. Every Friday and Saturday night there are parties until 2 in the morning and not quiet parties loud ones where you can not hear your TV. I can not have my sliding glass window open because of the noise. I have teenages living downstairs from me who are always slamming doors. I am a working mother who works two jobs just to live and I can not get any sleep. I can not complain to the office staff because they are military wives and the people who are having the parties are military so nothing will be done about it. I come home from working 16 hours shifts and I can not find any parking because they have their friends park in tenant parking and I have to park on the street. I am ready to put a bill for my rent on the cars since they can park in tenant parking they should be paying my rent for me.
If I could afford to move I would move in a heartbeat and sure the hell would not be in a place with military.
Canyon Club apartment has gone downhill since letting alot of military people move in I am not going to say families because they are not families they are a bunch of college kids who do not have respect for anyone. I really wonder why they want respect from American's when they can not respect us.

You say that you can't complain to the office staff? Have you even tried?? Just because they are military wives make no difference. You would probaby get a better response by talking to them, since they know the ways that military are supposed to act, and the partying is not acceptable to mlitary higher ups. Don't be lazy and actually GO INTO THE OFFICE. You are making assumptions on the office staff without going to actually see them. As far as the parking, they will get towed if YOU decide to call the night services. Don't make excuses and come on here to comlain when you don't want to do anything about it. And by the way, fair housing states that any one that qualifies can move in here, so they don't just let "anyone" in.

AND you say you work 16 hours a day and come home and just want to sleep, well how much sleep do you think our military gets when they are overseas fighting for YOUR freedom so you can get up and go to work. At times they don't even get sleep when they are here because they are out training to make sure they are safe when they do go overseas. There are other ways to go about dealing with your problems and bitching about it does not get anything done, you just lose air. I am a marine wife and I have no problem with the noise. I have neighbors that "party" on their patios until all hours of the night but you know what I did, since I do live in an apartment, I bought a sound machine. Seriously!!! If you don't want noise, buy a house. If you are having problems with the noise, go talk to the manager. If you can't sleep because of the noise, buy a sound machine. Apartment living is always going to be loud but to blame it on the "military" is pathetic. So what if they are in the military and are being loud, take the proper steps to get it resolved. And by the way, not every person in the office is married to military.......
