My husband and I moved from Florida to California when he got stationed at Camp Pendleton. We needed something convienent and affordable and we found that in Creekwood Villas. Is it noisy' Yes. It's located on a highway that makes it easy to get anywhere you might want to go. Also, the grounds are beautifully landscaped and unfortunately it takes people with noisy equipment to keep it that way. I also would rather deal with a garbage truck for 10 minutes than have a heap of rotting trash in the dumpsters. Is it safe' Yes. It is well lit, there is a security gaurd, and there are more than quite a few Marines. I don't know how I could feel safer. Is it up to date' No. It is true that the countertops are bad, that the cabinets are painted over and over again and that it's all just a little old. However, you pay for what you get. These apartments are affordable; they are not luxary apartments. As far as management goes, I have never had a problem with them. They are courteous and considerate. Trying to find a home 3000 miles away is not easy, but they were very pleasent to work with. They are also quick to call maintanence, especially the time my doorknob broke and I couldn't enter my apartment. When you read these opinions, keep in mind a person is more likely to complain than to compliment. Trust your instincts.
