yes it true the conplex has its issues. Some things are good, and others bad but for rent as cheap as it is what do you expect really. This was my first apartment and I chose it because of the price and location mainly...which both are very good. I do like the complex, it is pretty, well maintained, plenty of parking, and safe. The management has been very good to us for the most part. Anytime something has needed to be fixed they do it right away. They even do a follow up call afterwards to make sure it was done to our satisfaction. When maintinance needs to be done on the complex though, they could be better about informing the resident with ample time to make arraigments if necessary. The neighbors have been ok for the most part but ofcourse there are the ones that march to beat of thier own drum. But you cant control who lives by you. The complex is pretty quiet for the most part. In the summer it gets noisy by the pool but they are good about making sure its quiet by 10. As far as the apartment itself goes, it has its issues but they are old. When we moved in there was bran new carpet, and the apartment was very clean. There was a little mold in the cabinet in the bathroom but a little bleach an water cleaned it up real quick. Since being there I am frustrated with the counter tops, as they are just painted over time and time again and they stain just by looking at them. The kitchen does have ample cupboard space, but the counter top space is limited. The walls are thin and you can hear everything but once you get used to it, its not so bad. I would suggest living on the top floor if the noise from above bothers you. There are some pretty dumb rules like the whole BBQ on the patio thing but whatever, figure out a way around it. The management does seem to believe they are above the law. We not suppose to have dogs yet the maintance guy has one, there is a loading Zone by the mailboxes that the manager parks in as if its her own personal spot. The office hours SUCK big time!!! The sign says they are open 9-6 M-F and 10-4 on saturday yet when I get home at 5 they are usually already closed, and same thing with Saturday..always closing early! Its really annoying when it comes to laundry since the stupid card machine to put money on is in the office and for some unknow reason they wont move it to a place where it makes sence..like the Launry room! It makes it very difficult for poeple who work during the week, and maybe want to go out of town on the weekends..I hate having to plan my saturday around putting money on my laundry card. I will be moving out once my lease is up but not because I am so dissatisfied with the place, but mearly because I have grown out of it. The apartments are small and there is no storage space. Pluse i really want a dog an my own washer and dryer. So to anyone looking for a great starter place...creekwood is great. If you looking for luxury..your not going to find it for 1000 bucks a month...WAKE UP!!!

Thanks for all your input!!! I appreciate you taking time out of your obvious busy schedule to let others know how you enjoy living at Creekwood and what you'd like to change... I do need to mention though... it's usually easier to talk with management about your concerns... I will let you know... it's policy of coinmach (the laundry company) that we not have the machine open without supervison as it contains money in it... We wish we were able to put it in there too! It would be easier for us all but we have to uphold our agreement with the vendors... I hope that clears up your question and concern about that. I hope you have a wonderful Friday!!!
