This is the worst apartment I have ever had. I know that they are in the middle of painting and they finally decided to do something about what the outside looks like but they will rent to ANYBODY. The showers are horrible. One minute it will be fine, a second later its scorching hot then freezing cold. It makes no sense. Also, they do not tell you that you will be living right behind a soup kitchen, a rehab center, and a battered womens shelter. The police are always running around with the lights out looking for drug dealers even though there is a CHP station a block away. There is always people just standing around outside. The parking here is horrible!! You are assigned a covered parking spot but if you have a second car, you have to try to fight the management for the 15 uncovered parking spots (by the way, they have assigned parking but decided not to park there) and they let these HUGE trucks (owned by the maintenance) park in these tiny compact car spots and of course they don't know how to park so you can't even park in your assigned spot. The parking on the street should be illegal. There is so many cars you suffer from bumper damage or run the risk of the people who don't know how to drive or slow down, of side swiping your car. It takes repeated complaints to fix anything but when they do come, they do fix it. I can say that the noise level is low and the size of the apartment for the rent (which is cheap) is good for the area. Oh and I have never not once seen anybody patrolling outside. They do need it though. The management is either just dumb or doesn't know how to run an apartment complex. They promise the world but then when you move in you realize that you just got screwed. We are most definitely moving when our lease is up.
