I have unfortunately lived at Island Club for the last year.

Thankfully my lease is up in 9 days, and I am counting the hours.

When I first moved into Island Club I told them that I had a dog.

The office manager told me there was no pet rent and no breed restrictions.

I was happy to hear this.

After 6 months of living in Island Club I came home from work to an eviction notice on my door.

The notice said that since I hadn't told them I had a dog that I was going to need to leave or pay the last 6 months of pet rent all at once.

I went down to the office and told them this had to be a mistake because I had said I had a dog.

Finally threy believed me and told me I was going to have to start paying the monthly pet rent, but wouldn't be charged for the previous months.

I agreed.

Luckily, they are so stupid that I never did end up getting charged for the pet rent.

The people in the office are not at all helpful.

They seem to hire complete idiots.

I once got a message on my voicemail from one of the stupid women that work here telling me that I hadn't paid my rent for that month.

In reality I had paid the rent.

She went on to say that she had attempted to call me several times and hadn't heard back from me so they had gone ahead and charged me the 50 dollar fee for late rent.

The only phone I have is my cell phone and I had not missed any calls or recieved any voicemails from Island Club.

I told the woman that she must be lying because I never got any messages or missed calls.

She got very defensive and HUNG UP ON ME! It turned into such a fiasco.

I ended up not having to again pay that months rent, but being charged the 50 dollar late rent fee.
It is absolutely not a safe place.

The neighbors that I share a balcony with have been broken into countless times.

They one day came home to find their big screen TV and dinging room tables and chairs gone.

I would never recomend this place to anyone.

It is way overpriced.

It is horrible.

They do a great job keeping up the outside appearance only to trick you into moving in.

I am sorry to anyone who has had to live here!
Tara
PS- The dishwashers DO NOT work!!
