Hello.
I am a 7yr resident of Island Club Apartments, an Aimco property in Oceanside, Ca.
In the last 7yrs I have been here this property has been through different management as well as changes to the property.
Our current management team and staff deserve an A .
Jill Dorfingler (sp') and Arcelia are a great team.
They are always on top of everything! They are pleasant, patient, understanding, professional and just simply good people.
I don't know how Aimco found Jill, but you better keep her, because since she has been Managing this property, it has definitely become stronger and improved tremendously.
I walk my dog early in the morning, and even though the office is not open, I see Jill through the window working.
Arcelia is a bonus and compliments Jill.
Arcelia is professional, good people, down to earth, sweet and just simply good people.
I appreciate the time I have been here affording the rent and enjoying the beautiful landscaping, pleasant staff, the pool, and oh the remodeling of the weight room is the best! I have nice neighbors, and I have made friends in the community.
I just wanted to give a positive shout out for the Management and Staff here because it has been by far the best experience of apartment living I have had, as well as the stability of living in the same place (even though my my rent has increase alot) for the time I have been here.
Just wanted to let Aimco that Island Club Apts.
has the best and most professional Staff, and great maintenance.
I mean I can call the office and tell them I have an issue and Immediately, maintenance is on it stat! They are very trustworthy.
I would recommend this property to anyone I know.

yup bs. even though they have no idea what the hell theyre talking bout, they try to be nice. once they got u, dey ---- you n could care less about the rats running around in pooping in ur spotless stove!!! or the fleas in ur carpet and bed when u have no pets!

The Jill Dorflinger u speak of must be the nice twin to the evil Jill Dorflinger that I have dealt with for two years.Jill is not only incompetent but has no problem speaking untruths, as well as lacks basic human qualities like honesty, compassion, or common sense.

This person must be deaf, dumb, blind AND stupid... or jsut living elsewhere than Island Slum Apartments. This place is a living cesspool of insects, staff members and residents... Jill D is quite the manager... she is a total and unabashing -----. She will screw you out of $, lie to your face and then try to act like everything is great! Which Im sure it is on her end with all the $ she's stolen from residents under the guise of "rules" which she makes up as she goes. She needs to get some skincare, microdermabrasion and honestly needs to cut down on the booze, late nights and makeup... just a clue... makeup doesnt fill in the holes like spackle... like the walls in these -------- apartments. No matter how much you wish you could just cover up the mistakes with paint... makeup doesnt work like that Jill D. Im sure this will edited for content to protect the guilty and wicked. DONT MOVE HERE UNLESS YOU LIKE TO BE TORTURED, OVERRUN BY INSECTS AND INSANE NEIGHBORS, SURROUNDED BY SECTION 8 RESIDENTS, MIND RAPED, ROBBED BLIND AND HAVE A HUGE SMILE IN YOUR FACE THE WHOLE TIME...

OMG!!! Seriously ppl? Who has pissed in ur freakin Wheaties this morning? Im so tired of others on here denegrating someone who has had a positive experience or accusing them of being "staff". Come on now. Grow the "f" up!!! I can appreciate the fact that not everyone has had a positive experience here ok? I GET IT and I am so sorry for you and your family and the imposition it has cost you! That straight up sucks. For some of us, it has been quite the opposite and nothing but a GREAT experience!!! Should I go to ur post and accuse u of being a rival company or property management staff? Make ur post and let prospective renters take it all in ok? I have lived here 12 years and will have to move because it is priced out of my range now. Thats a negative but thats also LIFE. I will deal. Doesnt mean Im going to go on here and bash. In fact, where were all of you when we had another high profile manager here who liked to party with the residents and all the drama of that? Crime was HIGHER then than it is now!!! This property isnt perfect, I grant u that, but FOR ME, it has been home for 12 years and I appreciate the staff and the job they did FOR ME and are doing now!!! Again, I am so sorry you had that experience and I understand ur anger. Seriously I do!!! Now will you please allow the very few of us that post positive to do so without harrassment or accusations of being management posing as residents? And yes, there is an Assistant Mgr by the name of Arcelia. She is nice and personable. Again, Im just saying...
