An Honest Review...

I had high hopes for this apartment. I truly did. I am writing this review to tell the truth about how I feel about these apartments. It may be different for the people who have lived here for years or maybe in a different area of the complex. But I will tell you what has been happening from my point of view.

I've only lived here for a short time and I honestly cannot believe that I have witnessed so many problems in such a short amount of time. I understand that all places will have problems now and then but truthfully, it has happened way too frequently.

This complex is very beautiful, no doubt about it. The grounds are kept up, and the apartments has been newly updated. The office staff are even nice. My problem lays in: 1) Crime 2) Noise 3) Careless Dog Owners 4) Careless and Inconsiderate Tenants.

Crime:
I think it truly is sad that these apartments have as many crimes as there are. I've seen so much happening in a small amount of time. I don't think the office does much except put up a few flyers on our doors explaining the situation. Safety is important and I think they should have security cameras mounted to overlook the Community's entrances and parking lots since many of us are sleep and do not know when a criminal is going to strike. This community should be gated because anyone can enter and do what they please. Many of the cars here are fairly newer models. I don't think anyone would like to see their brand new car with a broken window. The crimes I've took note of over the past three months:

-At least two cars have been broken into
-Vandalism
-I've seen several police here almost every week for various incidents
-An apartment was broken in to during the day (very disturbing)

I m very afraid living here, and that s the honest truth.

Noise:
Don't get me wrong, I understand that people have get-togethers and may have a party or two. That's not the problem. The problem lies in the fact that they do not have consideration for the other neighbors. This place is starting to look too much like college dorms. No one deserves to wake up at 2am to profanity being shouted from someone's patio, several people becoming drunk and fighting with someone at their party, and wrestling each other to the ground and hearing the shattering of beer bottles or extremely loud music at all hours of the day, and worse at night. I cannot raise a child in this environment. It's not fair for families. And it s not just one or two tenants that are causing the problem; you ll see it all around here. I'm almost positive that the office receives numerous complaints about the noise, and simply give the tenants warnings. Maybe they should start fining them. These are apartments, meaning that there will be other people around you. I'm pretty sure if I decided to place a subwoofer against my wall at 4am and blasted it, they would be extremely upset because they were woken up. Now think about that... not everyone shares the same sleep schedule, I should not have to compensate whenever they want to have a party. I should be able to have a good night's sleep.

Careless Dog Owners:
I cannot tell you how many times I've seen dog feces scattered throughout this complex's sidewalks. Mainly because the owners are careless. I've seen feces smeared across the sidewalk (probably from someone slipping on it) and trails of feces all over. If you wanted to have a dog, you need to be responsible. Just like a parent is to a child. If your dog made a mess, clean it up! They sell little scoopers just for that. No matter where I go in this complex, it smells liked baked feces. It's so embarrassing when I bring guests over and there are endless piles of feces all over. I usually have to tell people to watch their step, not even sidewalks are safe.

I find it very sad that this is happening at such a beautiful complex. I can see that they are working hard to make this apartment beautiful, but for the sake of the tenants, please focus on the security and enforcing the rules here.

Have you thought about calling security and reporting it. That way its documented. I have noticed security there at least 3 times a night. Thing is people know when they come and go. So be a good tenant and call them so the crimes can be prevented
