I was transeferred to the San Diego area for work about a year and a half ago. The only place I'd really ever been before was downtown so I didn't know where to start. I had no idea where I wanted to live let alone which apartment I wanted to rent at. Actually, I didn't even know where any apartments were located. I literally picked up an apartment guide from a convenience store and started visiting the complexes and taking tours. I was only given one weekend to find a place to live so I had to act fast.
After roughly seven hours of looking and numerous tours, I finally found Island Club. From the moment I saw the sign on the outside of the complex, with all the trees and well manicured landscape, I knew I was going to like this place. The exterior was immaculate, I couldn't wait to see what the apartments looked like. The second I walked into the leasing office I was greeted by several people with big, bright, cheery smiles. As strange as it might sound, that isn't always the case. There is nothing more irritating than feeling like you are bothering someone when you're trying to view an apartment. That was certainly not the case here. The office was packed with perspective renters, current residents, and happy, smiling staff. I didn't wait long before I was hepled by a smiling, super friendly and knowledgeable leasing consultant. After an entire day of searching, I had found my new home, Island Club.
The entire process was effortless. The staff made every effort to make sure that my move-in process went smoothly. From the paperwork, to the inspection, and the handing over of keys, the staff was very accomodating, working with my hectic schedule every step of the way. They even left a welcome kit in the apartment for me that I found the day I moved in. It's the little things that make an impact.
I have only had a couple of instances where I required assistance from maintenance and my issues were resolved the same day I reported them and they were resolved correctly. I have never had to call maintenance more than once for anything.
The entire staff at Island Club, from the office to maintenance, are very helpful, always smiling, always courteous, and they wave and say hello when you pass them by. They are never too busy to take care of my needs and they make me feel like I'm more than just a number on a door.
The apartments are great, the grounds are beautiful, and the staff is what brings this whole thing together. I love living here and I would recommend Island Club to anyone who needs to find a home.
