Someone that works at Mission clearly wrote that last review, no normal renter knows THAT much about the military unless they work with them. I am in the military and chose not to live at the Missions because they ARE too expensive! Yes, you get what you pay for and yes, they are the newest in Oceanside. But there is at least 1 or 2 comparable complexes in the same area that offer the things, but more affordable. And, about the neighbors- mine are great, as a matter of fact, I have met a lot of the neighbors here because the office has a resident event every Wednesday. I love where I live and I have gotten paid for referring a friend who rented at my place too. The staff at Missions was nice, when they got around to greeting me. I visited because they offer what I need, a garage and a one-bedroom in a nice area. I surely didn't expect to pay up to $1400 for it! I have met some of my neighbors at my place that moved from the Missions because when thier lease was up, the rent was jacked up over $200 making it too expensive to stay there, so they moved to my place. They were told they received a special when they moved and that now they don't get it anymore and the rent is back to what it normally is. No specials for people who decide to stay there' That's really too bad. A shame they work harder for people they don't know who could potentially be bad renters rather than offer something good to the people who devoted a year of thier life (and pocketbook). I would not recommend the Missions at Rancho Del Oro. I would recommend Villages of Monterey, Mission Hills, or Montecito Village, one of these of which I live at.
