My husband is in the military and we wanted to get a place closer to Camp Pendleton. So we went to Montecito Village. I was asked to proof that I am in the country legally before I could LIVE THERE! I told them that I was waiting for my green card and I gave them proof of everything and the company basically was just "pretending to give me a chance" BUT they didn't I wouldn't want to live there anyway, but I am going back to show off my residency!!! THIS ISN'T OVER!!!!!!!!! RACIST BEASTS!!!!

Are you kidding me? If you don't have an SSN or don't provide one, they are legally required to get proof of citizenship. That's how it is anywhere you go. Aren't you overreacting just a little? It's not like they hate you individually, they have to have certain documentation for EVERYONE--the world is not out to get you.
