I have lived in Oceanside for 6 years. I moved every time my lease was up. It seemed to me close to impossible to find a nice neighborhood out here. I have a friend that works for Oceanside Police Department and asked him what part of town was the best for us to rent. He owns a home but told me that a few of the guys he works with live at Montecito Village. We have lived here for 7 months and couldn t be happier. When I have friends over parking is not always close. But unlike other places I have lived I know when the nights over and I go to my car it will still be there in one piece. It is a very safe area and I couldn t be happier. It is worth every penny. Walking a few feet to my car does not bother me as long as I feel safe doing it.
