So I here people bashing where I live. I like it at The Montecito. To me they have been military friendly. I kind of complain about little things and they always take care of it. Now I dont have to tell people this as they should know. It is not really loud there to me at all and I am a very light sleeper but you will have some noise when you have 100 neighbors. Our apartment complex is tucked away so we dont hear traffic....THere is no animal problems because They DO NOT allow dogs. I love animals but I will give that up to live there. They allow cats. So for the dork who said they threw there mom out the moment she got out of the car with her dog well that is because they make it ABUNDANTLY CLEAR - NO DOGS....not even within the lease line. Its a sacrafice well worth it. We have a washer in dryer in every unit. It is very spacious for the money. There isnt AC but it is cool most of the time because we are pretty close to the Ocean that we get a nice breeze. It is very safe I know because I keep a look out. We are right by a school so no predators live near us like other places. Well I could keep going. I love it here. Unfortunatley we have to move because of work..but I have lived in alot of apartments this has been my favorite.
