I lived in these apartment for 2 years from 2003 to 2005. They are in the process as selling them as condos, and when I moved out I got a letter saying I OWED $230 for carpet on top of my deposit. The interesting thing about this is they just REPLACED them a year earlier! I am no slob at all, quite the opposite and the carpets looked great. I know because I cleaned them every 3 months. I think what they are doing is letting the tenants fork the bill for upgrades so they can get more money as condos. Another complaint is that the garages are offset from the apartment, but they are only about 20 feet from your outside window, so anyone revving a motorcycle incessantly can make you have a real bad day. Do yourself a favor and rent somewhere else

My husband and I had the same problem with our deposit. Not only were the new carpets not clean enough, but the apartment as a whole was not either. This despite the fact that we scrubbed every nook and cranny before we turned in our keys!
