I lived in a ground floor until with a large yard for two big dogs. My unit was spacious, with a in-unit stackable washer-dryer (BIG PLUS), central air condition and heating, microwave, stove/oven, refridgerator, and extra storage closet. The complex was quiet and the management was honest and upfront. As long as I reminded management of any maintenance needs, the problems were resolved within an acceptable period of time. People who think the world revolves around them, complain, and expect to be served hand-and-foot should get a reality check. You should take responsibility of your property and take care of it...this includes calling and reminding management or maintenance when you have problems. You're not the only one they are trying to take care of. One of the biggest impacts on your experience in apartment living is the quality of your neighbors. My neighbors on both sides were great; friendly, curteous and quiet. My upstairs neighbors however, stomped like an elephants. There was one occassion where I had to go upstairs to ask them to be quiet (it was 2AM on a weekday and it sounded like a stampede). Some other residents did not pick up after their dogs, but that is not managements' fault. People should take the responsibility of pet-ownership seriously and pick up after their pets! The only reason I left Sunset View was because my company relocated me. Otherwise, I would still be happily living there. The rental price is fair, about market prices with the bonus of a spacious yard in some units.
