so we just walked out to the parking lot to go to a friends diaper party and my car wasnt there!!!
We arent allowed vistor parking where we live!... they mistook my car or something and had it towed.
i just got the car and we hadnt gotten the registration yet. at our apartments you have to have a sticker on your car or they will tow it. but you have to have registration to get the sticker.
well we went into their office like a month ago to let them know this. and they said no problem we will make a note of it in your file. just come in when the regristration comes.
well they lied because some lazy person who had the file right in front of them at the time never made a note of it.
and the apartment namager who is not nice was like "well you didnt have a sticker on it" she didnt even say sorry that her staff made a mistake in not taking note of it.
instead it cost up 195$ to get it out. and when we asked if she was taking that off next months rent she said no, because we signed a thing that said if you dont have a sticker on your car it can be towed.
i was like "no kidding i dont produce stickers, i cant just make a sticker if you dont give me one"
my husband had a few choice words with her too and now when our lease isnt up in May she says shes not renewing it. so now we have to move.....
shes the one who towed my car! i pay pay rent and live there... i shouldnt have to walk out into the parking lot to have m car not be there..... grrrr
the apartments themselves are nice. the inside and stuff. but their staff is horrible, very unprofessional when dealing with people. especially the main manager.
i think her favorite pasttime is to tow people. because during football season esp she was having people towed all day long!
also they say they are pet friendly.... they are not. they dont allow pets in apartments that have "new carpet". well since all the apartments are getting redone what does she think pet friendly means.... that you wave at pets if they go by'

I am the manager. Everyone is told upon move in that all vehicles must have a sticker to be in the parking lot and sign documentation. This vehicle did not have a sticker and was subject to towing. They could have completly avoided the tow by putting the vehicle without the sticker in their personal garage. This resident decided to let all their guests park in the parking lot for a superbowl party even though they were told upon move in their is no guest parking in the parking lot. I gave them fair warning before the game even started that I would be towing vehicles. My responsibility is to my residents, not their guests. As far as pet friendly...we allow indoor adult cats spayed or neutered with a pet deposit. We do not allow dogs. We do not allow pets on new carpet for obvious reasons and we are not remodeling all units.

I LOVE these apartments and the staff. Its plain and simple when you sign a leased contract you need to make sure you read the find print. I am in favor of the manager. This resident that felt the manager was unprofessional is wrong because every resident is told before signing the least that every car needs a sticker. Every resident is given a garage so they should of parked it in the garage. Don't get mad at the staff because you decided not to use common sense. If this resident would of just parked in their garage they would of saved $195.00.
