I lived there for 9 months on a short term work assignment.
I basically picked and moved into the place without even seeing the demo or a unit since I was moving from far away. I was located right across from the office.
Over all much better than I could have hoped, and it definitely had its pluses for ($750/mo at the time, 1 bdr). Covered assigned parking for one vehicle. For other parking my lot was never full, and yes the management frequently used it as well. People are OK, pretty diverse group, but I didn't have a problem with anyone (except the one lady who use to use all 5 washers and all 6 dryers at one time on Saturdays in the laundry right behind the office).
A few negatives include, a minor problem with ants in the kitchen, which I quick found was cured by closing the blinds during the day. I didn't even ask them to spray. The bath tub had a pretty worn patch job, but it functioned and I wouldn't want to bath in it, only shower. Problem with small moths (Millers') near the porch lights which inevitably found their way into my apartment and ate holes in some of the cloths I had left out. I learned to be more careful and stay on guard when entering and exiting.
All in all not bad though, I would recommend them to anyone looking for mid-term living ( 6 - 18 months ).
To comment on some of the reviews here...
Over all the staff was very nice contrary to the reviews here. None of the people mentioned here worked there at the time.
The people responsible for maintenance changed about half way through, but I couldn't tell the difference. They were prompt in fixing what repairs I felt needed to be made, which included replacing a dishwasher due to water leaking from around the seal.
One thing I do agree with though is the traffic is very noisy. I suggest back nearer the office since you'll have at least two buildings blocking the way.
No problem with crime at all. Some night security guy came around for a couple hours most nights which is nice if your coming home late.
Deposit refund was more than fair, I think I ended up paying only $45 out of my deposit, but then again I am a tidy person and don't smoke or own pets. Paid for a partial carpet cleaning and some minor paint touch up. I also made sure I was there for move out, which may have helped.
In short, I have lived in far worse. A good value compared to most other places. Again I would recommend it, but I would make a life there.
