When I open the doors or windows the noise from the street (Madison Abe is super busy) is unbearable. Kids are always running around screaming. The layout of the apartments couldn't be worse. The bathroom (toilet and shower)is through the bedroom (no hallyway) and the sink (they call it a "vanity area") has no door! So when my husband needs to shave or brush his teeth in the morning I can't sleep! I have Comcast cable but they won't install an outlet in the bedroom because the apartments won't allow it. The apartments are old. The windows are single pane and we have really high heating and air conditioning bills because of the awful windows, doors, sliding glass doors, nothing is sealed or in new condition. They have had 3 different managers in the last 4 months. The current manager has no clue. Eva the leasing manager will answer the phone in a really sweet voice and will be super sweet.. until you sign a lease. Then she turns into a real jerk. The maintenance people are wonderful. Never have any problems with them (if I can convince Eva to send someone over). They have no fitness center and the Laundry rooms they have set up are ridiculous. They use a company that replaces the real washer turbin with a smaller one. It costs almost $3 to do one very small load of clothes. They are installing washers and dryers inside some apartments and in turn charging $100 more per month for them. Parking sucks, management sucks the worst. Find somewhere nicer for the same amount of money.
