I have found Desert Oasis to be a nice place to live. It's not the "Ritz Carlton", but it's definitely not a dump. It has a washer/drier hookup in the apt. There's plenty of greenbelt between buildings and building-quads. There are plenty of activities to do like gym/racketball/basketball/swimming/tennis etc. Upstairs apt. deck space is generous, and quite close to hwy 10 for quick out-of-town commute. All-in-all, due to it's location (Palm Desert) and other amenities and property value, enables it to be a very attractive place to rent.
