I formally lived here for 4 years. I have now moved and manage a property of my own and it's incredible to remember some of the things this property does to their residents. They always turn off the water and dont tell residients some times for a period of more than three day. If work order is called into the office you are miss treated by the office staff and it take forever for maintenance to come and fix the problem. During my pregnancy our a/c went out and in the heat of Palm Springs it was unbearable I ended up in the hospital. We also had a black mold problem in our bathroom and the manager told us she would fix it and after a year, I threatened her to take pictures to the health deparment if they didnt get rid of it. A week later she replaced it but the maintenance guys never went back to caulk the bathroom. The maintenance their is so un professional dont knock on the door they just open it up and if you have a lock inside your door they open up the window and go in. I also has things stolen out of my apartment and I'm pretty sure it was maintenace. I honeslty wish that new management would take that property it's such a nice property and has very good residents. I also lived at Tahquitz Crt. for 9 long living hell years. Just last year in June 2008 I went without hot water for over 3 months, for me to do my dishes I had to boil water, had to boil water to take a bath, wrote numerous letter's to the manager as well as the property management company, did no good. a couple of weeks after moving in my stove was acting upso I called the gas company to have them check it out for, they did and said the stove was very old and needed to be replace, I told manager nothing was done and just a few days later I turn a burner on and it blew starting my shirt on fire, it's was 6 AM and the office was closed so I left a message 2 days later still had not got a call from the manager, called the gast company again they came out and it took me going to get the manager and have the gas company to tell her to replace the stove now, which they did after I could of been killed or other people also.They could care less about the residents. It is has now been sold and maybe things will change but not holding my beath.
