Chaparral Apartments

WARNING: 60 day notice to vacate From: -Anonymous- Date posted: 7/27/2008 Years at this apartment: 2007 - 2008   I am just writing to warn that there is a 60 day notice to vacate (instead of the standard 30 days). After living here for a year I returned from a month long trip, I found this out by a notice on my door after it was too late (no phone call). I am in the military so I travel a lot, and I know that a lot of the people that live in this area work for gov contractors of the air force and travel and do also. Overall this place is expensive and not worth living at. The apartments are big. The parking and laundry suck. The fact that it is not gated in this area really sucks (you are not very far from the East side and people are constantly leaving papers at your door or hanging around on the premise). My advice that if you are in the military or work on base would be to live on the west side of lancaster or in rosamond. You could also take the 1000 that you would pay at chaparral and get a house instead of a crappy apartment.
