Years at this apartment: 2002 - 2003
Lived here for a year - Mar02-Apr03 - in a Jr. 1 bed - a studio really. Clean place - we lived at the back of the complex so the train was not a big issue. Everything in the Apt. worked well and we were comfortable at all times.
The Albertsons next door (30 sec walk) is a HUGE plus esp late nights or early in the mornings when you want just that one little thing...
Things to watch out for:
1) They are not good with assigning parking spots - you have to see them a couple of times till they give you one they haven't already give to someone else.
2) Mildew in the bathroom. The bathroom in our Apt only had an exhaust fan (which was really weak) and no window, so the circulation was not great. We had to clean the roof of the bathroom every other month. You might want to find an apt in the same complex with a window/good air circulation in the bathroom.
3) Irrespective of how well you clean / maintain the carpet - you are unlikely to get your full deposit back. They will take off about $100 for carpet cleaning. I guess everybody does this....
