03/12/14 by anonymous: The Marc is a high-end, luxury apartment building just off University Avenue in the heart of Palo Alto. It is actively managed by an attentive and responsive staff. It has great amenities -- pool, large public spaces, BBQ, exercise room, on-site yoga classes in their studio, underground parking, private garden and more. The units are laid out well, more

11/21/10 by anonymous: This place is decent enough, but the management is a nightmare - unresponsive, rude and borderline dishonest. Don't rent here, it's not worth the headache. more

02/26/12 by anonymous: I totally agreed with the review posted by the user in 2011. I thought this is a gated community and consider it the safest place to call home with young kids. Huge mistake! Instead of taking measurements, and keeping residents informed on the look out for suspicious activity, they chose to swipe things under the rug and cover it up. that doesn't take long before the criminal striked more

02/11/12 by anonymous: We've lived here about 6 months now, taking a risk to sign a lease while we were long distance and had not seen the place in person. I was more than happy when we moved in. The apartments were kept in nice condition, the closet space was significantly more than I had anticipated, and overall everything was pretty spacious. The rent was also better than I had seen with other more

03/19/14 by sweetd_cali: I've lived in a couple other apartments in Palo Alto, both near downtown, tiny and overpriced with none of the amenities that you can get at Stanford West. My last apartment was an old jr. 1 bedroom (more like a studio) with no parking and a kitchen just like Harry Potter's room (seriously it was tiny and built under the stairs). The person renting there is now paying $2050 more

07/05/10 by anonymous: The woman who manages the property is unbelievably rude and difficult to work with. I don't know who hired her but she is the worst apartment staff I have ever had to deal with and every time I leave the apartment I cross my fingers that I don't run into her. The noise here is TERRIBLE. You can hear every conversation of the people who live above and next to you. Anytime someone even more

08/04/10 by anonymous: We've been at Hawthorne Apartments for over two years now. We're very happy. The community is great. The places are quiet. The management is friendly and helpful. We're so close to downtown and children's parks. Really-- our lifestyle is terrific because of the excellent, quiet, accessible apartments. more

07/29/10 by anonymous: I and my wife were tenants in Palo Alto Place (previously Plaza International) around five years. We've tried to break down our review in several subsections, describing our experience with each aspect separately and hoping to help you make a more informed decision about choosing this place. History: We moved into the building in 2004 and were renting a one bedroom unit at first. The more

05/31/10 by jimimeshulam@hotmail.com: I lived in Montage Apartments for a little over 2 years, but left to move closer to work and to a more affordable area. Palo Alto being one the best school districts in America is unfortunately also very expensive. The service provided by the management were outstanding and very easy and reasonable to work with. My security depot were returned to me within 2 weeks. So thanks to more
