It's our third day living in this complex and I'm already really impressed. Yesterday, I wrecked my car into our garage due to another resident parking in a no-parking zone. There was minor damage to the dry wall, and I was kinda freaked about what sort of penalty management would inflict. When my husband talked to the manager, she was overly apologetic and said that they would be fixing the dry wall free of charge and that they would be towing any cars parked illegally in our area from now on. She apologized profusely and wanted to know if there was anything she could do other than fix the dry wall to help out. Needless to say, I've been impressed so far.
And minus the neighbor who owned the car that caused the accident just taking off after seeing me trapped in the car, everyone else has been SOOOOOO nice!! We had one neighbor handing out sodas to the guys who were helping us move in, another guy offered to help, and several people just stopped to say hi. And it's been so QUIET!! Minus the occasional train whistle and the kids that play outside in the early evenings, there's no noise! Impressive!

she unfortunately always says that she will have cars towed. we have been told that numerous times and STILL cars are parked in front of garages, and this has been going on for months...

Well, all I have to say is that she gave notice to the neighbors (I heard the bitching through the alleyway) and they have been really careful... Even if it's just an idle threat, hey, it got the job done :)
