I have lived at Emerald Isle since August 2009. I have found this community to be like living in a 5 star hotel! The ammenities are fantastic ... we have a lap pool, jacuzzi, gym, billards room, library, several laundry rooms, and computer room with several computers. Everything is spotless. The gardens are perfectly manicured. My unit, in building C faces the Alta Vista golf course and is very private and beautiful. Each unit has its own air conditioning and heating. The apartment in which I live is immaculate. This complex works collaboratively within the local community, hosting events that include local businesses and colleges for active senior living. In the short amount of time I have lived here, the activities director has hosted culture fairs with foods from around the, health clinics, a holiday boutique and we will be enjoying a Thanksgiving feast. We have dinners to promote getting to know our neighbors, movie nights, and the list goes on and on. We will be supporting our troops this Veterans day by preparing goodie boxes to send to Iraq and Afghanistan. The staff is knowledgeable about the needs of their 55 community and are receptive and responsive to our needs. I highly recommend living at Emerald Isle. - Mimi - Building C
