terrible place, too hot, no fresh air, stuffy, too expensive

This is one of the worst apartments I ever lived in. Too noisy as on a main street, and the management want to save few dollars so they turn off the air conditioning in the hall ways of the buildings and there is no fresh air circulating. Hence the apartments are always very hot and one needs to have the A.C. on all the time to stay a little cool. The A.C. is very loud as well.
Over all, living in this place was like living in a hell.
Managements is very rude. They pretend to be nice just to get you to sign a lease. Once you have signed a lease, they become rude to you.
Stay away, there are much better places to live, and less rent as well.

The above is certainly not true. I have lived in Emerald Isle for 2 years and the staff is nothing but helpful. Activities are great here, I can't wait for the Father's Day event. Judi, our Activities Director, is fabulous. Not to mention, Emerald Isle is beautiful. The water aerobics classes are always exciting.

This person must be a competitor who obviously does not or has not lived at Emerald Isle. I live at Emerald Isle and these statements are completely UNTRUE. Come see for yourself. This place is fantastic as is the staff.

I live at Emerald Isle and I happen to agree with the original poster. Not to mention when was the last time Mariann walked the property. Boxes all over balcony, clothes hanging, the hallway is extremely hot. Not to mention in a news letter the residents were told not to leave their rooms if the fire alarms went off. Hello, lawsuit waiting to happen if we were waiting for management to show up to tell us it is a real fire. I will exit if I smell smoke, I'm not putting myself at risk.
