I have lived in Villa Angelina for 2 years. I have had nothing but trouble form the experience. The office staff is exceedingly unprofessional, and the rents are outrageous for the quality of living that the management provides. My former room mates recently went into the office and requested a copy of everything in my resident files- AND WERE GIVEN THE FILE TO MAKE COPIES! Not only did the management violate Fair Housing Laws by allowing them to make copies of my file... but all of my personal information was made accessable to them! ie: drivers license, credit reports, social security number, etc... Completely unacceptable. I am pursuing legal action. Thisis just one complaint of many... you do the math... They even charged me a pet deposit when I do not have a pet! This was taken from an overpayment/credit on my rent...

Is something wrong with this person's personal record, he is so concerned that his room mates found out his true wits ???

Yeah, um ... There is absolutely nothing wrong with handing over the files to someone who is on the same lease. It becomes ... in a sense ... community property. Everything the parties do once they have signed a lease together is fair and open to all other members of the same party. Having said that, the management has been very friendly and helpful since I moved in about seven months ago. I have never had any complaints about them except for the people that keep parking in my spot. (That's the whole purpose of having LAWS to protect my PERSONAL, PRIVATE parking spot!!!) I can't believe for a second that this actually happened at the Villa Angelina and agree with the others. Anyway, love the place and the management and wouldn't move anywhere else. (Oh, and smiles? I'm not management. Try really hard to pin this as "Damage Control", but you won't succeed.) |

Your response is comical. Read up on your rights... See public record information at the Berkley Courthouse for the truth about Villa Angelina... You are so ignorant. It is called invasion of privacy and identity theft.
