I take it back...Villa Angelina is horrible

I moved back to Villa Angelina, and my experience changed completely with a different apartment and new management. My old apartment was in the newer building and I really liked it. But you'll pay the same amount for the older, poorly kept apartments which is what I ended up doing. The kitchen was awful, floors were worn and dirty, the fireplace was probably painted (yes, painted) 15 times and it looked terrible, appliances and fixtures were old. I couldn't even adjust the temperature on the shower because the dial was stuck. The new management and employees were completely rude and unprofessional. Especially when my car was broken into in the assigned parking in the FRONT of the complex outside of the office. They didn't show any sign of sympathy or concern whatsoever, and they did absolutely nothing about it - they could've taken a report, assured me that they'll increase security visits, improve the lighting, something! But no. Parking seemed to get worse and worse. The laundry rooms in the second building I lived in were really bad and unkept. I really regret moving back, and I'll never live there again.

I'm pretty sure you're exaggerating a bit. I lived there for quite awhile and nothing was ever even close to what you're saying. Every apartment community is going to have a few things that need "extra attention" so just ask management or maintenance to look into the matter, or better yet help out around you're own apartment. It's your home and you should be proud of where you live. Take the time to do something worthwhile instead of just complaining, because it gets annoying.

Thanks for your response to my review "GoKickRocks." And you're right, at $1700 a month I should've "taken pride" in my "home" and did the repairs MYSELF when the maintenance failed to correct the issues. That's part of apartment living, right? I'll keep that in mind now that I'm living in my newly renovated apartment in Tustin with absolutely no problems whatsoever that aren't immediately corrected upon my request. Although I doubt my granite countertops will crack and new fixtures will break, I'll take it upon myself to fix them in the off chance that they do. THANKS!
