There were good and bad things about Villa Angelina. The office staff was always kind and helpful regarding any situation. The maintanence staff was incredibly fast and fixed everything. I never had any maintanence issues in all 3 years living there besides lightbulbs and smoke detector batteries.
If you have dogs, I highly highly recommend living on the bottom floor(I think they're all 2 bedrooms) because I lived on the 2nd floor with a small dog and while I wanted them to only go potty on walks, it wasn't realistic when I was gone all day. So they had a doggy door to go outside on the balcony. The reason this is inconvenient is because you cannot rinse or wash down your balcony unless you want to drench your downstairs neighbors. It was such a frustrating issue.
If you have a dog or dogs, there isn't much understanding from your neighbors when it comes to barking. I had numerous threatening letters on my door. This ended when I finally proved it wasn't my pet, but someone elses. When I was in the process of trying to resolve this issue, I plugged in a device that made a high pitched sound when my dog barked. We got numerous complaints regarding that as well. So, in other words, we couldn't do anything right.
The grounds aren't nice, but are well maintained as far as graffitti removal goes.
It was an okay place to live, but I am so much happier now that we're out of there.
Parking is absolutely a joke. The waiting list for another space was 100 people deep. The only parking is down the street in the school parking lot, which cars get broken into almost everyday.
Overall, okay, but look elsewhere. Otherwise, cheap rent.

Well, when you come from a trailer park, this place must look like Trump Towers-looks like you're moving up in the world! If I were you I'd be watchful of paint chips (Kibbles and Lead Chips, Kibbles and Chips, I gotta get me some Kibbles and Chips!) your dogs will ingest while you're there-that place isn't fit for DOGS let alone kids!
Good luck, you're going to need it, especially since you're not bright enough to know it doesn't matter how "clean" you are to keep from having a roach problem when the place isn't managed right.
