Vasona sold the property to a new company whom notified us with a corporate letter on our door. Doesn't have the decency to walk around to talk to all the tenants or to hold an open house meeting to introduce themselves to us.

The apartments are old, plumbing sucks (my unit the toilet cloggs daily), lofts are nice but the air conditioning unit in the bedroom no longer heats or cools, last maintanence told me it was just a heater and it was a figment of my imagination that it cooled my apartment last summer. Refrigerator is old (freezes everything I put in the back of the fridge, freezer is small), dishwasher backs up into the sink, and the disposal doesn't work right.

The patio and porches slope and the stairs inside the units creak, and the stairwells when wet are dangerouslt slick, and the cement steps are loose. Trees are not trimmed in the fall, and branches are always everywhere making a mess.

The pool is nice when it is clean, there is a pool cleaner about once a week, the comlex is to cheap to put a pool cover on it and save us on rent. The laundry room has 5 dryers and 4 washers for about 100 units. Way to expensive as well. Garbage is always piling up in the dumpsters and sometimes not picked up in weeks.

I can't wait to find a new place to live, but there are not many vacancies in the east bay that a single person can afford.

At Christmas a neighbors car was broken into and the complex did nothing about it, and also our old apartment manager Timothy was murdered and the police are writing it off as a suicide. Why would a fun loving guy whom loved his sister, and mother, and his job, take his dog for a walk to an old school and jump off the roof.

Pleasant Hill is not so pleasant.

This person is either really dramatic or completely nuts. Maybe this person should "jump" off the roof.
