I was just reviewing all of the old places I used to live (none of which got very good reviews nor deserved any), and I decided I should write a review of my current living situation. I have lived here for over a year and I absolutely love it. The complex is small, and people are very quiet and respectful. The management is fantastic. They have made so many positive changes. since I moved in a year ago, they have put in brand new windows, brand new sliding doors, brand new front doors, tore down and rebuilt the balcony, and they are re-doing all of the stair-wells. They are updating the apartments (as they become vacant) with washers and dryers and new appliances. The location is so convienient to downtown pleasant hill (half a block to the movies) and it's nice to walk everywhere. It's also a pet friendly place, but I never hear dogs barking. I leave my windows open all the time because it's gated and very safe. I have never heard of any break-ins or seen any 'sketchy' people wandering around.

There are a few drawbacks.... it's a bit pricey (although pretty comparable to the area and it's definitly worth it if you can afford it) and it's very close to the freeway, which causes a lot of constant 'white noise' (although you get used to it).
Parking is fantastic, lots of guest parking and covered parking for residents. Even though there is a lot of construction going on right now, which causes a lot of noise, the crews are very respectful and they don't start too early or work too late.

All this to say, I completely recomend living here. It's a fantastic place to live.

I have lived here for two months and truly enjoy my apartment and the landscaping. There are only two things that bother me. I don't see an air filter in my apartment and my nose is so plugged up in the mornings, and dust collects daily on everything, plus the yappy dogs from my neighbor morning and evening. Also, there are slummy one-level apartments behind the Boulevard and someone there owns a big truck without a muffler! Talk about annoying!!
