The New Management thinks they are very smart and others are stupid. The new lady/Manager just believes in talking -- not listening (Very poor sales person, the basic thing people learn before they get into sales is to be a good listener).
The new guy there is very cunning -- thinks others are stupid. He changes rent every other day on Craigslist. Lists rent after the one month reduction and makes it look like he is giving one month free rent. Such an id**t. $1850/1900/2000 for a 2-bedroom -- this is heights of greediness. At least the previous management was reasonable.
Please don't get in to the apartment thinking that you will pay only $1475 for a 1-bed and $1850 for a 2-bed. My friend lives there and he told me that as soon as your 1 year lease is over they will charge you $1750 foe a 1-bed and $2155 for a 2-bed. These guys should be in credit card business. Better look for other places. These are ruthless bastards.

I posted about the snobby management on a previous post. I finally found a place, a one bedroom for $900 in Pleasant Hill. As far as the rest going up and down in price, that's actually pretty standard. Rents usually decrease during the winter months and if a property isn't renting units out like they should, they offer some sort of discount and/or move-in special. I've lived twice in an apt complex where I got free rent for a month. PRETTY COOL. Anyways, good luck in your search and I agree, this place is such a rip off.

Good *Trinity*....so you found a place for 900. How is it? is it newer or old? And regarding the price variation I described above it was in a span of just 10 days that they gave me 3 different pricings.

Villa Montanaro lied to me about being able to store my motorcycle in their storage lockers to get me to sign the lease and when I moved in was told tough luck. Definitely do not recommend the overpriced condos run by shady management.
