I've been renting with VM for more than a year now. With former management, everything's a breeze. They are easy to deal with. Now that somebody has taken over, they increased the rate, allowed pets for easy money and have been doing a lot of construction which I believe is unnecessary causing noise and trouble to current tenants. We had to remove our cars from the parking lot because they have to repaint'!' I don't see anything wrong with the current stripes in the parking lot. Worse, they didn't bother look for a parking spot for us. Cooling system is not working well. In summer, though you set it at 60*, you wont feel anything near that temp. Lastly, there has been 3 car theft incidents in this apt. At first we thought, it's one of those rare incidents. Second time, it didn't scare us since car was parked outside, pretty unsafe. The last incident was ours. It was parked on basement and the designated spot. We're thinking of moving out now!

I know what you mean...I've been renting with VM for about 6 months now, and my car got broken into the first month we were there and it was parked in the basement as well. I also thought it was just a rare incident, because when I went to notify the office that someone broke into my car, she just look at me surprised and stated there was security, and I really wanted to say exactly where the hell was he when my car was being broken into, I couldn't understand how they had so much time to take my stereo, cd's, and still have time to look through my whole vehicle.
