Pretty good...

I?ve lived here over two years (which is longer than probably 90%+ of the people here) and I have to say I?m fairly happy with the place. Yes, there are things that could be improved (cheap quality of parts; my toilet has broken several times; the rent seems high) but overall, I?m pretty satisfied.
It?s pretty quiet here -- my neighbors upstairs tend to stomp on the floor, but there?s not much Wood Creek can do about that. I don?t hear the neighbors to my other side at all. All of the neighbors that I have met have been extremely friendly and polite. The management staff is generally helpful, although they can be jerks when you try to negotiate on price.
Having said all of that, I am looking for a new place to live, mostly because I want a bigger place (I?m in one of the 1BRs) and also because I want to rent from a private party this time. I?m much more comfortable dealing with a single person than a management company. Again, there is not much Wood Creek can do about that -- it?s just my personal preference.
The maintenance staff is extremely helpful and was willing to call someone out to fix problems even on Super Bowl Sunday. The old guy who comes around to do maintenance here is a wonderful person who will talk to you for a while about various things -- I always enjoy talking to him. The 2BR units are really nice here.
If you?re thinking about living here, be aware that Wood Creek will negotiate on price. I got a 1BR (over many of their objections) for as low as $1305. (It?s gone back up -- I have refused to sign a lease since I hope to be moving soon.) Their list prices are ripoffs and they will offer lower prices to you as soon as you walk in -- however, you can go much lower than what they are asking as long as you sign a 1-year lease. Their turnover is pretty high and I?d say it?s fairly rare for people to live here more than two years.
By the way, I?ve heard bad things about living next to the fountains, so I wouldn?t recommend taking a unit where the fountain is next to your bedroom, or you may get a nasty surprise at 6AM when they turn on. :P
