I stayed at Archstone Hacienda for 1 year from Sep03-Sep04. Overall it was a good experience. Did not have any trouble with the neighbors. Management is competent though a couple of them can be surly at times. Only real downside was (at the end of the lease) they jacked up my rent by $145 per month which bordered on the outrageous. I didn't have any choice other than to move out. They charged me quite a bit for phantom cleaning charges and they ofcourse ate my 99$ deposit. Overall my stay at Archstone was enjoyable.
Pros: Pretty new and clean apts. Tolerable neighbors. Very prompt help with maintenance issues.
Cons: Expensive! High Move out charges. Security is iffy.

If you can afford it, go for it.
