PG&E sent out information on how to reduce your energy cost with the PG&E SmartAC. I asked management about it, they won't let you do it! An article in Pleasanton paper about Trash cost increasing from $25.30/ $28.04 to $29.13/ $34.57 per home. We already pay more than the city is going to raise it to! A wopping $37.90 per apartment. Now me, being only 1 person living in my apartment and 5or6 people living in another apartment, we all pay the same amount, is that equal''' The city is going to give Seniors 62 and older a 15% cut in their monthly charge, what about Archstone. Well they tell me that Archstone doesn't get any of that money we pay, so in 9/08 we all were paying $36.00 then in 10/08 it went up to $37.90 and increase of over 5%. Which is over $11,000. over all. Even though the trash trucks don't have to stop at over 500 houses. I have contacted over 12 apartment complexes in the area and only 2 make you pay your own trash bill. Everybody is trying to find ways to cut back and conserve you would think Archstone would do the same, but rent is up, utilities are up, trash,sewer,water is up, gas is up......Everything but wages.
Oh and by the way did you all know Archstone Hacienda is a Hotel'' We're probably paying their trash too!

This is a very accurate review. The management has gone down hill with no hope at all. We live near the poll and have to call everynight as people who live there don't care about noise and will stay passed the posted hours. I would not suggest anyone move here. They raised our rent 230 dollars and we don't even have a garage! We found a place down the road for 18o less a month with a garage and in better shape. Pease take my word for it it only looks good!

I agree with you 100% and that's why I'm moving out of there. Complaining to management is useless, they do nothing. The noise is horrible. And what's up with all the taxis in the parking lot?
