too expensive, cheap materials, unhelpful office staff

I've actually lived here for a long time, and in two of the different floorplans. The sound insulation is AWFUL - you can hear everything your neighbor is doing and if you're not blessed with a quiet neighbor, your life can become a living hell. You have to call the office staff over and over to get anything done, and still you have to call again to follow up. The carpet is probably the cheapest I've ever lived with.
But again, I've lived here for a long time, and it was great oh, about 3 0r 4 management changes ago. My rent went from $840 to over $1200 in a span of three years, and during that time service has gotten worse and worse. My husband's car was broken into and has paint marks on it. The office won't even hold packages for you anymore if you weren't home when delivery was attempted. They've gotten more and more restrictive about everything, including what you can put on your patio or balcony and they even made me take down a hanging plant that hung from a hook somebody else put there.
Short-term I'd say fine, but don't expect much. Long-term no. Funny, years ago I'd have highly reccommended this complex. Not now.
