This verbal exchange, that was said to have taken place between this resident and the assistant, simply did not take place. As for the previous posting made by this same resident, he states that his apartment was "broken into", and this did not happen. This statement of the verbal exchange never happened, and even if it did, it would have been irrelevant because this vehicle was not only towed for having a flat tire, (never was fixed) it was also towed for not having current registration. The resident was notified 5 days prior to the towing that his registration was not current, the vehicle had a flat tire, and the vehicle appeared abandoned. This was not his first warning. In fact if he had responded to one of the warnings and requested an extension, he would have been granted an extension to register his car and fix his tire or relocate the vehicle. When he was asked why he did not do that, he responded by saying that the condition of his vehicle is no ones business but his and the DMV, although the parking rules are clearly stated in everyones lease.
