I recently moved into Summerlyn. The new management company is redoing the entire interior of the units and everything is brand new. I love it. Based on the previous listings it looks like they don't have a good reputation but hopefully with these new upgrades it will turn the property around.

Yep, the old owners sucked big-time, but the new owners/management company are doing a heck of a job! Robert, one of the managers (the top manager?) is very friendly, and I've seen him walking the complex in the evenings, making sure everything is okay, etc.
We have to move from our current unit so that they can refurbish it, and we plan to move into another unit at Summerlyn.

The good the bad and the ugly of this place. The good, I recently moved here about 2 months ago at first it seemed like a good place since we were put in a unit in the most "quiet" section, thats as good as it's going to get... Not even 24 hours of living here we come to the conclusion that the neighbors not only dont know how to close a door quietly, keep their death metal music down ( 10 units down around the corner in the parking lot ) continue to stomp the ever living ---- out of the floor boards above us. The "maintenance" or as i would call them fresh gang members/illegal aliens from tijuana start their leaf blowing briggade at sometimes 6.30 in the mother ------- morning. When you leave your apartment to go to work or run errands you cant help but notince these "workers" staring at you, wondering whether you'll be jumped or stabbed, or if when i'm not home my wife will be in harms way or worse. Trust me i know the feeling of hostility, I'm a former Marine. Or if they'll follow through with their lustful thoughts of plundering your apartment. It's an unerving feeling knowing that they do have access with a single turn of a key, any time of the day or night. I've found out that we were told we "had" a newly designed apartment, i found out by hard evidence that this was a lie. Merely to obtain more money from us. Not only does the paint job inside look like a retard did it, painting over door hinges and handles. but on my walks on the hostile outside premises ive seen contractors unloading sleek brand new expensive looking black dishwashers and refridgerators along with brand new granite counter tops. I've contacted the management in face to face meetings about various things in the unit that need repair or pests that need taken care of, for example the water heater stank of mold for about 2 weeks, after 5 times telling them, to my utter suprise they never did anything so i took matters into my own hand...let alone an infestation of black widow spiders some that lived right outside the front door with webs spanning either face level or calf height...They simply told me to "burn" them or i could pay to have a pest control team come and wipe them out. Recently the neighbors in the units adjacent, above and next door have all moved out. Suprise again i woke to the smell of harsh chemicals at 5 a.m. Flashing back to chemical weapons i thought we were under attack. To my immediate discovery i found out all 3 units were being painted. The stench of paint reeked for 5 days. I looked over the rules of this "regime" and saw that noise was to be reduced/ or prohibited between the hours of 10pm-8am...like that's the biggest -------- i've ever heard next to what i've waided through with this place already. a few days ago contractors started to refurbish the vacant units. It sounded as if a stampede of horny rhinos were partying to give you an example..It continued late into the night and i was woken this morning at 6 AM! By this ----...I thought we were under a mortor atack for ----S SAKE! There is more but i hope my story will help someone else think other wise about being trapped by this unforgiving ---- whole. Trust me i've been in some bad situations before and this is starting to look like it will fit into the top 10.
