Nice Apartment, staff unnattentive, too much road noise

Years at this apartment: 2005 - 2006
We moved in last year, and although we had some bumps, such as our apartment was not ready, not clean, no appliances, etc...we were happy with the space. Our 2nd night there our washer flooded the apartment. They didn't have it hooked up correctly. They repaired the carpet and after 3 attempts it still looks bad, but liveable.
The street noise off of 6th is almost unbearable, we couldn't sleep for almost 2 months. Large trucks drive by all night long.
Lastly, what you read about the office staff in regards to not being attentive and unprofessional is completely true. The manager will never identify herself or show any concern when you have a problem. We are not complainers, being former property managers we know how pesty tenants can be. But we would at least like the common courtesy of pretending that they care about your needs.
The business center also has been vandalized before we got here and it still remains closed.
The pool is ice cold.
Besides all of this, the floorplan is great! I would suggest that you be prepared to do a lot of your own follwo up before move in and also pay the difference to get an apartment facing the golf course.
