Id rather be homeless

Years at this apartment: 2006 - 2006
Let me start from the beginning:
Day one: I drive three hundred miles with all my belongings. When I get here they tell me to spend my own money getting a hotel, because they didnt get around to doing my paperwork, eventhough they confirmed our move in date for that day. The never called to tell me things werent ready, nothing. I tell them if they want to get a dollar from me, they will move me in that night, and after a sorry attempt to argue, they let me move in, after close to two hours of going back and forth, claiming they dont have the ability to do so.
One month later: The lock to our front door stops locking. We call and put in a work order. Three months later when we transfer apartments, the locks still dont work. I would have to go out the patio, and jumpr the retaining wall on our patio, just so that the front door would be locked while I was at work.
Two months down the road: The initially told us that we could transfer anytime for 150 bucks, come time to do so, they have changed their policy, convienantly, and never told anyone. I called on twelve different occasions to speak to someone about the issue, and was put on hold and they never picked back up. TWELVE TIMES. So I finally ask for the regional managers number, and all the sudden they have a manager on the phone in seconds. We transfer.
Move in Day to second apartment on site: Floors are stained with hot pink hair dye, and moisture stains in the bathrooms from under the mats. Eventually got fixed when new manager got here, I dont know his name, however, should have been fixed before we got there. I cannot walk barefoot in my own house. My feet get black from walking on the seemingly new carpets. Our garage upon move in was filled with trash, boxes, someones gym bag, beer bottles, and a rag with suspicious contents on it.
Since day one the treadmills have not worked. Although we pay for them as part of our rent, and they are an amenity, when I called and asked a leasing agent about fixing them, she told me to go to staples, and buy some type of magnet, and I quote "It may take three magnets" put it on the console of the treadmill, and itll start it for you. I asked her when they were going to get these magnets, because I already pay for the treadmills as part of my rent, and I am not going to fix it myself, if that was my job, I would be a home owner, not a renter. She told me she couldnt give me a date when they would be fixed. They have been broken since I got here six months ago. A neighbor who moved in six months before me, said that they had been broken since he got here. I HATE THIS PLACE, AND EVERY PERSON ON THE MANAGEMENT TEAM EXCEPT THE NEW GUY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Dont rent from this place, the business center never works either. They show all these amentities to get you to move in. NONE OF THEM WORK!!!!!! I would be better off in section 8 housing in the middle of compton. If you read this and rent from them anyways, you are retarded.
