If any poor souls are considering moving into this place, I storngly urge you do not. Unfortunately for myself and my family we did not read this reviews before moving in and therefore we are stuck in this ---- hole! Let me start by saying that yes, the apartments are beautiful! Now that I have that out of the way lets get to the truth about AMLI. The office staff will kiss your ass majorly until you sign a lease. They will call you everyday to see if you made your decision, and once they have your deposit you will never hear from them again. I have been here for just a short while and already have a list of complaints. Upon move in date we were supposed to be contacted for a walk through that afternoon. We left several messages for the manager then next few days and have yet to hear from them. We were handed a piece of paper to mark down problems, and im sure this paper will be ignored upon move out. The maitnence staff is rediciulous. They came to repair something on a monday, told me they would be back to finish the job wednesday and never showed.... it has been 10 days since he started the job and has yet to finish it. People let there dogs ---- everywhere! Even though there are bags provided and they threaten you with a hefty fine, people refuse to pick up their dogs ----. It is digusting. Parking is a joke here! They allow people to store cars in what very little parking spaces they do have and therefore there are none available for anyone else. If it isnt seven in the morning you probably will not find a parking spot especially if you live in a building like mine. The pool is so cold!! People party out by the pool all night and leave caps to their beer bottles laying around. I feel like I am the freaking maid and have to pick them up so my kids dont step on them! People constatnly park in red zones meaning you cant pull into your tiny garage without doing a hundred point turn. Paint is so cheap inside apartment if you barely touch the wall it scratches. They hired painters to come paint the complex. The painters painted the door seal and we couldnt open our door. Maitnence came and said it was a problem with the door handle. '' Yes, my husband couldnt get the door open and broke the door handle! The door handle was not the problem however! Overall I hate this place. I cant stand it at all nor can my husband and we wish we would have done our homework. The office staff is a freaking joke! Please dont do it!
