I've had no problems with the staff or the apartment or the apartment complex. When I first moved in (November 2006) into a nonsmoking building, I did have a problem with my neighbor right below me smoking on her porch. All her nasty smoke would come up to my apartment. I pay more to live in a nonsmoking building, so I complained a few times everytime she did smoke and management did take care of the problem. My neighbor now gets out of her apartment and away from our building to smoke. There are too many kids running around for my taste, but it's not a constant thing. When I needed maintenance work done, they've been right on top of it. Overall, I've enjoyed my stay at Carmel Apartments.
