Nice but pricey

The comunity is nicely kept and the apartments are fairly nice. Appliances include fridge, washer, dryer, microwave, dishwasher. Washers and dryers are large capacity but low end models. Beats going to the laundromat. My appartment had the attached garage and it was very convienient. The managemnet staff is alright since it changed hands and some of the services are no more. The parking is unassigned unless you have a garage and I think most of the residents abuse the parking guidlines by keeping more than one car. Biggest complaints were the incessant intrusion into ones garage/aparment for inspections or supposed routine maintnance, constant notifications (monthly it seems) at the doors from the managment about events, policy changes etc and lack of concern to resident complaints. The only way to get any action from them is to call the police about problems you have and then you get these really cheerful calls from the managment thay they are here to help, "just don't call the police the next time". Lastly I really hated having to climb bars to get into the small gym on weekends. The only access point was clearly across the opposite end of the complex when they used to keep all 4 access points open before. Watch out for the kids playing in the parking areas. They are usually riding bikes or those loud motor scooters all over the place, especially by the park. My apartment was facing church street and my bedroom window in particular was facing the park. Great view but what really got on my nerves was the ambulance, fire department and police using church street as a freeway when ever they were on a call. The sirens echoo really loud and even with the TV turned up it was bothersome. Be prepared if you live boardering the park to hear people late at night laughing or partying well past 10:30pm when the park light go out. Gets rather bad in the summer time but usually its ok. Now for the good parts. The 2 master bed appartment I had was pretty large. The kitchen was spacious and there were a lot of cabinets. The A/C worked really well in summer and I really enjoyed the little patio for easy access to our barbeque. The ceiling are a good height and the bathrooms a good size. I like the roman style tubs and the water heater is big too.
